Puglia Center, a nonprofit organisation based in New York City, promotes Puglia, its culture, tourism and art to the American market. The centre aimes to organise:

As a first project, Puglia Center has set up a cultural tour in April with American journalists, experts in tourism and gastronomy. This project will introduce to journalists food companies, wineries, oil mills, restaurants and agri-tourismo (guest houses) in the provinces of Bari and Lecce. Th einvited journalists will have an opportunity to visit Puglia and learn about the region's folklore, traditions and local food and wine. The objective is to promote Puglia through their media (web, TV, print and radio) to publicize their experiences in order to hopefully increase the flow of tourists and business contacts, as well as attract multinational investments.
