Claudio Baglioni live in London
Claudio Baglioni - One World tour 2010
Saturday, 29 May 2010 @ Royal Albert Hall
Claudio Baglioni, one of Italy’s most loved performers, brings his one world tour to London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 29th May 2010.
In his long-awaited UK debut he will perform an anthology celebrating over forty years of his spectacular repertoire, bringing his wealth of musical skills, both compositional and stylistic, to the British public for the very first time.
Over the course of his extraordinary career as a singer-songwriter, musician, writer and architect, Claudio has played to huge stadium audiences at home in Italy as well as touring extensively across Europe, North America, South America, Japan and Africa. He had the unique honour of performing the only popular music concert ever at St Peter’s Square, Vatican City, on the Millennium Eve, in front of 300,000 people and in the presence of His Holiness John Paul II. His tour “Tutti Qui” (2006) broke records for multiple dates, while “Tour Rosso” (1996) boasts the highest ever attendance in Italy.
Having experimented many music styles and in pursuit of new expressive languages, Baglioni worked among others with Ennio Morricone, Youssou'n' Dour, Bruce Springsteen, Peter Gabriel, Bob Geldof, Paco De Lucia, Sting, Art Gurfunkel, Andrea Boccelli, to name but a few.
In recent years he has been the main Italian performer in international charity music happenings, such as Live8; the Human Rights Now Tour for Amnesty International and he was one of the authors of the Word Food Day Concert, the concert-meeting in favour of FAO, held in front of the Coliseum and 700.000 spectators.
Claudio Baglioni is delighted to be performing for the first time in the UK at the Royal Albert Hall.
Don’t miss your chance to see Claudio Baglioni for one night only at the world-famous Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 29th May 2010 at 8pm.
