NEW ACT OF THE YEAR at the Hackney Empire on January 30th 2010

Please join in the Celebrations for the acclaimed annual showcase of New Variety acts. This is indeed a very special year because one of Accademia Apulia's very own members, Giacinto Palmieri, is a finalist in this coveted title!!

This year's acts have been auditioned in the autumn of 2009 in four London Comedy clubs by a panel of judges who have seen over 100 acts from all over the UK.

On Sat 30 Jan 2010 the judges will declaire the NEW ACT OF THE YEAR. It’s no exaggeration to claim that the show has played an important part in the launching of a great number of acts that have gone on to professional success in the clubs, theatres radio,film and TV.

The 2010 New Act of The Year Final will present 15 new acts introduced by the one and only Arthur Smith .
