Only The Strong Survive - an international Hip-Hop dance battle
Only The Strong Survive (OTSS) is an international Hip-Hop dance battle which will be held in June at Guanabara, Central London. At the end of the event £2400 cash will be distributed to the winners. Dancers will register and compete against the best dancers in the world , most of the guest dancers are the main characters in the recent “Street Dance 2” 3D movie currently at the cinema. Participants will compete in three categories: popping, locking and hip hop.
The best participants in each category will be awarded with £800 cash prize. World renowned dancers Gemini (Locking4life), Gucchon (Cothkoo) and Fabrice Labrana (Kaynix/Ghettostyle) will be judging, alongside entertainment from famous DJ’s and dancers from Korea to Canada.
The two days bank holiday event is expected to attract a thousand people and will be one of the biggest events of its kind to hit the UK. The competition has been organised by Lexi Maize through the London Charity NICOLA, which provides opportunities for youngsters to get involved in creative activities, to whom any proceeds will go, and will be reinvested into their youth programmes
