Zago & Friends - Travelling Charity Exhibition 2011/2012
About the organization EMERGENCY UK is an independent, non-profit organization that provides free health care to victims of war and poverty. 
EMERGENCY UK are organising a travelling exhibition in association with celebrated Italian artist Gianantonio Marino Zago – a contemporary artist whose work has been on show in galleries in Germany, New York and Japan.
The travelling exhibition, entitled ZAGO AND YOUR FRIENDS, aims to show a unique take on canvas: 100 paintings started by 100 artists have been finished by Zago himself. The paintings will be on sale at a price of £350 each. All proceeds will go towards sustaining EMERGENCY’s Paediatric Centre in Bangui, in the Central African Republic.
Unique features to this art exhibition are the 3D effects of the paintings and their environmentally friendly nature: they all contain materials that Zago has recycled from the street.
The artworks will be exhibited in various venues around London!
