The Finalists are announced

Three outstanding photographers have been announced as finalists of the 2011 Accademia Apulia Photography Award, beating 750 entrants from 31 different counties, they are:

1. Patrizi Paolo
2. Polina Alexandra
3. Ucar Erhan

The finalists’ photographic essays will be shown in a group exhibition on 10th February 2012 within the prestigious setting of the Royal Horseguards in London’s Whitehall (admission by invitation only). The exhibition will showcase images printed with Metro Imaging’s high-definition finest technology.
The 3 finalists will be invited to London as guests of the Accademia. The overall winner will only be announced on 10th February 2012 during the Award Ceremony at the Royal Horseguards. The winner will receive a €1000 cash prize.
The Panel of Judges also applauded the submissions of the following top participants. One image from each essay will be printed and included in the exhibition.

Accademia Apulia would like all participants to know that their work has been outstanding. Most importantly, their photographic contributions to the Migration, Stories of a Journey project have not only shown great technical skills, but has also shown a high degree of human sensibility in helping raise awareness of such a global issue.
